Dr Soo Suet Ker is an anaesthesiologist at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She completed her MBBS and Master of Anaesthesiology at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. To sharpen her expertise in neuroanaesthesia, Dr Soo underwent neuroanaesthesia subspecialty and fellowship training across two leading regional institutions: UMMC in Malaysia and Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. Beyond her clinical responsibilities, she is actively involved in training the next generation of anaesthetists and medical officers in Malaysia. Her professional focus extends to national healthcare quality and safety, serving as an expert committee member for the National Guidelines on Safe Use of Medication in Anaesthesia.
