Professor Ruquan Han is currently Director of the Department of Anesthesiology at Beijing Tiantan Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, as well as a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He holds multiple important part-time positions, including Director of Neuroanesthesia Branch and Board Member of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology, Standing Member of the Chinese Association of Anesthesiologists, and Vice Chairman of the Beijing Society of Anesthesiology, etc. He has presided over more than 10 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, Key Program of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and Key Special Project of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. With long-term engagement in the research fields of neurosurgical anesthesia and anesthetic neuroscience, he has served as chief editor and chief translator of 14 monographs, and published more than 100 papers in renowned journals such as JAMA Neurology, Anesthesiology, and British Journal of Anaesthesia
