Oguzhan Arun, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine in Konya, Turkiye. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and further advanced his academic foundation by earning a PhD in Biophysics. His academic work seamlessly integrates clinical anesthesiology, cardiovascular care, and anesthetic pharmacology to optimize perioperative patient safety and outcomes.
Dr. Arun leads a translational research program that bridges preclinical biophysics with perioperative medicine. Drawing upon his dual expertise, his research focuses on vascular reactivity and perioperative organ protection.
