Assistant Professor Surunchana Lerdsirisopon, MD is a neuroanesthesiologist at the Department of Anesthesiology, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, and King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. She also serves as Assistant Director for Corporate Communication at the hospital and Chair of the Division of Neuroanesthesia.
Dr. Surunchana completed her medical degree at Chulalongkorn University and received fellowship training in neuroanesthesia at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA. Her clinical and academic interests include neuroanesthesia, neurocritical care, patient safety, and quality improvement in perioperative care.
She is the Academic Chair of the Thai Society of Neuroanesthesia and has served on the administrative board of the Royal College of Anesthesiologists of Thailand, contributing to anesthesia education, research, and patient safety initiatives in Thailand.
