Dr Lim Jia Yan is dually accredited in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine.
She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2012 and went on to pursue specialist training in Anaesthesiology, completing her training in 2018. She then went on to undertake subspecialty training in Intensive Care Medicine in 2019.
With an interest in Palliative Care in the intensive care unit, she enrolled in a post graduate diploma course in Palliative Care in 2020.
Beyond clinical duties, Dr Lim is also active in training of junior physicians. She is the BASIC Course Convenor and a course faculty for the Definitive Anaesthetic Trauma Care Course in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
She is currently the Director of the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
