Dr Minyu Jian is an Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University. She obtained her MD in anaesthesiology from Capital Medical University under the mentorship of Prof Ruquan Han and was a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Diego, mentored by Prof Piyush Patel.

Her clinical and research work focuses on neuroanaesthesia and perioperative neuroprotection, with extensive experience in anaesthesia for neurosurgical procedures. Dr Jian has authored and co-authored numerous publications in leading journals such as BMJ Open, BMC Anesthesiology, and the Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology.

She has received several recognitions, including the Travel Award from SNACC (2015) and the Best Abstract Award from the ASA Annual Meeting (2015). Dr. Jian continues to advance research in anaesthesia and neuroscience, particularly in neuromonitoring, sedation, and postoperative recovery.
